Is a straightedge blade sharpned to a 20 degree angle sharp enough to shave with?

I have a Knife Sharpener that sharpens to that angle, but i'm not sure if that is sharp enough... what would you say is the average angle of the blade edge? 25 degrees? 20 degrees? 13 degrees?

the degree of the knife does not really matter, what does is the knife being sharpened. Make sure you spend time with the blade and work a good edge on it. If you are using a straight razor, you might want to consider stropping it. If it is a standard knife, don't shave with it, because you probably won't get it sharp enough to get a good shave in.
